RESPONDING TO THE 'SHELTER IN PLACE'

As you are more than likely aware, earlier today a ‘shelter in place’ order was put into effect for 6 Bay Area counties. (Click here to view an SF Chronicle article with more information.) We want to share some ways that we can respond to this situation that are not only healthy and wise, but that can also help to turn an otherwise difficult time into a season where the church can grow and even thrive. Click below to watch a video from Dwayne and me and learn more.

I encourage you to stay connected during this time, to God and to each other. Community matters now more than ever. And if you’re not following Crossroads on Facebook and Instagram, now is a great time to start! You can expect to see more from us on those platforms in the days and weeks to come.

If you enjoyed the online worship experience with us this weekend, you heard Pastor Andy mention that we are partnering together to form a response team that will be working together to serve the community and those affected by the coronavirus. Many of you expressed interest in being a part of that team. We are in the very early stages of identifying the best ways we can help and how best to mobilize people, but please know that more information will be communicated soon! Thank you for your hearts to love and serve others for God!

I love you, I’m grateful for you, and I’m praying for you every day! May God be near to us all and use us to make a difference in the world!
